Summer Counselor in Training Program

Counselor in Training Program

Each year East Granby Parks and Recreation Office is excited to present our Counselor if Training (CIT) program to East Granby Residents age 13-15.  This program is an opportunity for them to learn what it means to be a camp counselor, practice skills learned in training, and have time volunteering at our Mini Adventurer and Camp Granbrook programs.

Youth interested in applying should submit a volunteer application (attached below) no later than Friday, April 22, 2022 to the East Granby Parks and Recreation Office.  Applications can be submitted by mail or email (aliciav@egtownhall.com) or can be dropped off at East Granby Farms to the office.

After applications are received interviews will be set up and there will be an opportunity for discussion around interests, availability and training opportunities.  Space is limited so please return applications by the deadline above.

For returning CIT applicants.  Please submit an updated application and include a paragraph on why you wish to return, what you learned last year and what you hope to get out of this coming summer.
