Let's write some code!  In this class, designed for computer programming beginners, we will use the Scratch programming language to create interactive stories, animations, and even custom computer games!  Scratch was developed by MIT, and has a user-friendly interface that is fun and intuitive  Through their projects, participants will also develop logical thinking skills and an understanding of how computers work.  

No previous programming experience is necessary.  At the end of the class, participants can keep copies of their programs to take home or continue developing in the online Scratch community.

This program is geared toward children entering grades 3-6/Ages 8-12.  

We will provide a lunch bridge program for those who sign up for both Scratch Programming and App Inventors.
