This camp is for children in grades 1-5 who want to be outside, rain or shine, learning about nature. The camp will be run by Amanda Thompson, EGLT Program Director, and EGLT student interns.
Campers will spend hands-on time with live reptiles and amphibians, learning about each species and their special features, and go on outdoor adventures to learn to identify trees, flowers, birds and aquatic insects in Salmon Brook and the Farmington River.
Campers will also learn outdoors skills like how to use a compass, knot tying and how and what to pack for a hike.
Drop off will be at a different location within East Granby every day.
