School activities have priority over the Parks & Recreation activities. When school is canceled, due to inclement weather, all recreation activities held in the schools will be cancelled.
Regarding programs other then those held in public schools, a decision to cancel the program will be made by 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, OR one hour prior to the start of the program on Saturday and Sunday.
Cancellations will be announced on the following radio and TV stations: WFSB or via messages through our MyRec email system.
